Murder mystery

The lowdown -- Watch a performance of The Mousetrap, Agatha Christie's famous murder mystery. The plot revolves around strangers stranded at a boarding house during a snowstorm who become suspects in a murder investigation. Audiences will try to guess the killer as a detective unravels the case. The theatre's 10-year anniversary reprise of the British whodunit will run tomorrow through Feb. 3.

A Classical Act

The lowdown -- On Saturday, the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts will host two performances of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra's "Tchaikovsky Discovers America," featuring Classical Kids LIVE! The concert aims to introduce kids and their families to Tchaikovsky through a theatrical production that uses the composer's music, including excerpts from The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and The 1812 Overture.

Thrilling 'Turn'

The lowdown -- Everyman Theatre will perform The Turn of the Screw by Jeffrey Hatcher. The play, based on Henry James' psychological thriller of the same name, revolves around a young governess who cares for two orphans and begins experiencing unexplained events that she attributes to supernatural forces. Are ghosts running rampant or is the woman a victim of paranoia? The performances run Wednesday through Feb. 24.
