Office, markets forecast in report

NAI KLNB, a full-service commercial real estate services firm with locations in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, has released a 32-page end-of-year report that analyzes and offers predictions about the office and industrial markets in Howard, Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties.

The report, available by calling 410-290-1110 or e-mailing, provides analysis of recent performance in the commercial and residential land industries and the institutional sales sector.

Among the topics covered are the possible impact of a recession on the local economy and real estate industry; the toll on commercial real estate if the slowdown in the industry continues; and how the Base Realignment and Closure process will influence the region.

New job growth is predicted for Howard County. Columbia Town Center is expected to benefit from employers' searches for new office locations, and substantial amounts of space have been delivered and absorbed in the U.S. 1 corridor. A large block of space is available at Gateway Commerce Center, according to a new release issued by the company.
