City man, 32, shot to death

The Baltimore Sun

A 32-year-old Northeast Baltimore man was killed Friday night in what police believe was a drug-related shooting.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at 2800 Kentucky Ave. about 11:30 p.m., said Agent Donny Moses, a city police spokesman. Police found Jerome Waters of the 3000 block of Pelham Ave. lying on the sidewalk across the street from the Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church with gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Waters was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about midnight, Moses said.

Police believe the shooting was connected with the drug trade, Moses said; the investigation is continuing.

Anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2100.
