Redskins (9-7) @ Seahawks (10-6) 4:30 p.m., chs. 11, 4
Line -- Seahawks by 3 1/2
Story line -- The Redskins, down and out at 5-7 after Sean Taylor's death, won their last four to become the hottest team in the NFC.
Quarterback matchup -- Todd Collins has played beyond expectations in relief of injured Jason Campbell. Matt Hasselbeck carried the Seahawks' offense all season, despite a negligible running game.
Game within the game -- Gregg Williams' defensive game plan will be to force Hasselbeck into hurried throws and take away what Seattle does best.
Moving on -- Seahawks - the real Todd Collins shows up today.
Jaguars (11-5) @ Steelers (10-6) 8 p.m., chs. 11, 4
Line -- Jaguars by 2 1/2
Story line -- Three weeks ago, the Jaguars thumped the Steelers in Pittsburgh, 29-22. No team that won in Pittsburgh in the regular season has gone back to win again in the playoffs.
Quarterback matchup -- David Garrard has been terrific in ball security this season, but this will be his first postseason start. Ben Roethlisberger has thrown for 32 touchdowns, but he has also been sacked 47 times.
Game within the game -- Jaguars tailback Fred Taylor ripped the Steelers' run defense for 147 yards in December, but he has already complained about Pittsburgh's dirt field.
Moving on -- Steelers - it's not going to happen twice this year, either.
