Roger Clemens is beginning to build in at least a little wiggle room as part of his defense against allegations in the Mitchell Report that paint him as one of baseball's marquee performance-enhancing-drug users.

While still maintaining that he did not take steroids or human growth hormone, he does concede that former personal trainer Brian McNamee injected him with lidocaine and B-12. That word comes as part of a preview of a 60 Minutes interview Clemens did with Mike Wallace that airs tomorrow.

So, now we have Clemens and McNamee agreeing McNamee used a needle on Clemens. Much more important is what was in the needle. One of McNamee's lawyers has done some saber-rattling, threatening a lawsuit and promising to be watching carefully.

We all will. Tomorrow might be the most defining performance of Roger Clemens' career.
