Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Baltimore

Northern

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house under renovation in the 4100 block of The Alameda between Dec. 20 and Wednesday and stole two vanities, mirrors, tools, cabinets, a stove and building materials. Total value of the property was $1,400.

Stolen vehicle -- A green 1998 Ford Crown Victoria with tags 393 45B was stolen during the weekend in the 2600 block of Sisson St.

Southeastern

Burglary/arson -- A man was arrested Monday and charged with breaking into a house in the 600 block of N. Belnord Ave. and setting a fire that caused $30,000 in damage. No property was reported stolen. Antoine Marable, 48, of the 300 block of Mason Court was charged.

Baltimore County

Theft -- Theft charges were expected to be placed against a man who attempted to leave Target in the 5200 block of Campbell Blvd. on Wednesday without paying for dental-care products valued at more than $200.

Theft -- A man with a tattoo of a star under one eye stole a leather coat valued at more than $500 from Mens' Wearhouse in White Marsh Mall about noon Wednesday.

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the first block of Glenmore Ave. through a rear basement window Wednesday and stole $1,000 cash, jewelry and several DVDs.

Essex

Burglary -- A .380-caliber semiautomatic handgun, clothing and a cell phone - all valued at more than $1,000 - were stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday from a house in the 9800 block of Sapelo Road.

Burglary/assault -- Two men, one with a handgun, were attempting to steal tires from T. B. Customs in the 700 block of Eastern Blvd. after breaking in about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday when they were confronted by an employee. As the pair fled without property, the gunman pointed the weapon at the employee and threatened to shoot him. No shots were fired.

Burglary -- Video games valued at $400 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 200 block of Commodore Drive.

Parkville

Robbery -- A man, 56, was removing money from an ATM at Provident Bank in the 8200 block of Harford Road about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of an undisclosed sum.

Cockeysville

Robbery -- A 21-year-old service station attendant was walking toward his home in the 900 block of Saxon Hill Drive about 1:40 a.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, got out of a gray car and robbed him of his wallet and keys. The victim was then forced into their car and driven a short distance before the pair ordered him from the vehicle. The victim was not injured.

Franklin

Robbery -- A male resident of an apartment building on Brookbury Drive was returning to his apartment after collecting mail from a lobby mailbox about 4 p.m. Wednesday when he was pushed inside by two men, one armed with a handgun. Inside, the pair forced the resident, another man and a female onto the floor. Moments later the pair fled with video games valued at $2,000.

Burglary -- A 2000 Yamaha dirt bike valued at $5,200 was stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 5600 block of Mt. Gilead Road.

Pikesville

Burglary -- A camera and a TV - together valued at $1,030 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Preakness Court.
