On December 15, 2007, JACOB ARTHUR "OTTS" DeHOFF, JR., passed away at his home, he was 86. Born and raised in Baltimore, Otts graduated from Forest Park High school in 1940 and married his high school sweetheart, Ruth Beynon. He was a proud veteran of WWII and DAV Life Member. He enjoyed a lifetime career with the Reuben H. Donnelly Corp., retiring as territorial manager for the Eastern Shore. Otts served as a teacher and Certified Lay Speaker for Howard Park Methodist, Mt. Olive United Methodist and Emanuel United Methodist. He was an active member of the Salisbury Lions Club and helped found the Salisbury Substance Abuse Community Center, Inc. Survived by his wife Ruth of 66 years, daughters Corinne Kutrik, Connie Boccia and Cathy Anarino and their husbands, granddaughters, Traci Melvin, Casey and Ashley Boccia, Courtney, Lindsey and Whitney Haldeman; great-grandchildren, Katie, Madison and Hayden; a special Aunt Maggie; brothers in-law, Tom, Ed, John Beynon and their families. A memorial service is planned for January 12 at 2 P.M., at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, 5115 Old Court Road, Randallstown, MD 21133. The family ask for any contributions in Otts' memory be sent to the Salisbury Substance Abuse Community Center, c/o Faw Casson CPA's, P.O. Box 2098, Salisbury, MD 21802 or the Mt. Olive U.M. Church.
