MARTIN, KATHERINE (KEM) METZGER

On December 23, 2007, KATHERINE METZGER MARTIN, 80, of Baltimore, originally from Atlanta, GA. Journalist, Life Master in duplicate bridge, and a fiercely independent, keen woman, she passed away of complications from cancer. She was the beloved mother of Karen M. Barch, of Chicago, IL and Jay A. Martin, of San Francisco, CA; beloved sister of Claire Jacobs, of Clayton, MO and Sidney Metzger, Jr., of Pittsburgh, PA. Also survived by her two grandchildren, Rachel and Jack. A celebration of her life will be held on January 20, 2008, details to be announced.
