On December 24, 2007, CHESTER E. MILAVEC, Sr., beloved husband of Elizabeth D. (nee Myers); devoted father of Nancy Custer and her husband Mark, Kelly Getz and her husband Marty, Angelique Rosenberger and her husband JR, Chester Jr., and his wife Jennifer and James and his wife Laura; loving "Pap" of Tamara, Mark Jr., and Toni Custer, Rachel and Nicholas Getz, Kyle Rosenberger, Camryn and Justin Milavec. Chester's loving family include many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His hearty rolling laughter will be heard forever in our hearts. Chester served six years in the US Navy after receiving his honorable discharge. Chester worked at the General Motor Company, Broening Highway Plant from 1968 to 2000, retiring after 33 years of faithful service. Friends may call at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Family and friends will gather at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8212 Philadelphia Road on Saturday at 10:30 A.M., at which time services will begin. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
