Man attacked outside Arundel liquor store

The Baltimore Sun

A man was the victim of an attack last night outside a Glen Burnie liquor store and was taken by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, said a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

About 7:40 p.m., county police and Fire Department medics responded to Liquor Fair in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway South, where they found the victim, believed to be in his mid-20s, lying on the parking lot suffering from a chest wound, said Lt. Frank Fennell, the spokesman.

The man's name was not released, and officials would not immediately say whether he had been stabbed or shot.

Police said details of the incident were not available and that the man's condition had not been determined.

Anyone with information is asked to call county police at 410-222-8619.
