Living nativity, musical planned
Heritage Baptist Church, 1740 Forest Drive in Annapolis, will hold holiday events through Sunday.
The outdoor living nativity will be held at 7:30 p.m. today. Warm cookies and hot cocoa will be provided.
There will be a Christmas musical at 10:30 a.m. Sunday by the adult choir.

Weekly soup sale set at St. Andrew's
St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater, will hold a weekly soup sale market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.
Soup will be sold by the quart or gallon, and preorders will be accepted.
The weekly indoor flea market will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow. Space is available for $15 for a 10-by-10 foot space and tables are $5. Food concessions will be available.

Winter grief service scheduled

This service will focus on comforting individuals who are grieving during the holidays.

Eastport United Methodist Church, at 926 Bay Ridge Ave. in Annapolis, will hold two candlelight services at 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Monday.
"Home for Christmas" will be the service theme. A concert will precede the late service.

Christmas pageant at Glen Lutheran

'12 Powers' lighting at Unity by the Bay
Unity by the Bay Church located in Suite 18 at 836 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park will hold a "12 Powers Candle-Lighting" service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
There will be a burning bowl ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 30. This service is a cleansing and renewal service for individuals to relinquish burdens and identify desires for the New Year.
Continuing events include silent unity prayer time at noon, Monday through Thursday; and "A Course in Miracles" from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays.
