COLLEGE PARK -- Telling Kristi Toliver that she's doing exceptional work in her role as point guard for the No. 4 Maryland women's basketball team isn't a waste of time. She appreciates the compliments.
The thing is, Toliver knows she's playing better than she did as a freshman two years ago when she hit the biggest shot in the program's history, a three-pointer to force overtime in the national championship game win in 2006.
