Again, no opening-drive TD
The Ravens extended their dubious streak of 19 consecutive games without an opening-drive touchdown, but at least they got on the scoreboard first courtesy of Matt Stover's 27-yard field goal. Another potential scoring drive ended with back-to-back sacks of quarterback Kyle Boller. The Ravens have scored just 23 points in the first quarter -- fewest in the NFL -- this season.

Lewis leaves with injury
After the Ravens' first three-and-out, the Dolphins scored their first touchdown on Samkon Gado's 7-yard run. In an ominous sign, middle linebacker Ray Lewis left the game with a dislocated finger. The Ravens turned the ball over on their ensuing possession when a 47-yard bomb bounced out of Devard Darling's hands and chest and was intercepted by cornerback Michael Lehan.

T. Smith-led drive ties it up
The Ravens went three-and-out twice more, and Feely drilled field goals of 22 and 29 yards to cap a 13-point Dolphins rally. But rookie quarterback Troy Smith led the Ravens on an 11-play, 59-yard drive that resulted in an 18-yard field goal by Stover to force overtime.

Stover misses; Lemon hits
After winning the coin toss, the Ravens drove 53 yards to the Dolphins' 26, but Stover missed an overtime field-goal attempt for the first time in his career, hooking a 44-yarder wide left. Three plays later, Dolphins quarterback Cleo Lemon hit Greg Camarillo on a slant for the 64-yard game-winning score.
