Ricky Hatton vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 10:15 p.m. [HBO replay]

This was the World Boxing Council welterweight championship held last Saturday in Las Vegas. Spoiler warning: Stop reading if you want to be surprised. Suggestion: If your roommate is gullible and uninformed, try to make a bet with him. If you haven't been vacationing in the Himalayas, you already know that the undefeated Mayweather added to his reputation as the world's best fighter pound-for-pound when he stopped Hatton, a gutsy Englishman, in the 10th round. Hatton has already asked for a rematch.

Men's college basketball

Middle Tennessee State @Memphis 7 p.m. [ESPN2]

This could be a little like that Hatton-Mayweather fight. Memphis (8-0) is ranked No. 2 in the nation, and Middle Tennessee (4-5) struggled for a split in two games with Belmont recently. Among the Memphis stars is guard Chris Douglas-Roberts, who is averaging 20.0 points and 6.0 rebounds.
