PLAY OF THE WEEK
Drew Brees, New Orleans vs. Arizona -- Better late than never, Brees could become the productive fantasy quarterback everyone expected when he was taken high in drafts. Coming off a 328-yard, three-touchdown effort against Atlanta, he has another solid matchup at home against the Cardinals with the Saints making a push for the playoffs.
STARTING NOD -- Brett Favre, Green Bay at St. Louis: After injuring his elbow and shoulder against Dallas two weeks back, Favre looked fine in the Packers' win over Oakland on Sunday. Expect big numbers in a high-scoring game at St. Louis.
OTHER SOLID OPTIONS -- Tony Romo, Dallas; Derek Anderson, Cleveland; Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle.
NOT THIS WEEK -- Jon Kitna, Detroit; David Garrard, Jacksonville; Vince Young, Tennessee.
STARTING NOD -- Joseph Addai, Indianapolis at Oakland: Addai has provided 1,293 total yards of offense and 14 touchdowns this season.
STARTING NOD -- Greg Jennings, Green Bay at St. Louis: Jennings (46 catches, 812 yards, 11 touchdowns) has scored at least one touchdown in nine of the 11 games he has played this season.
NOT THIS WEEK -- Santonio Holmes, Pittsburgh; Isaac Bruce, St. Louis; Reggie Williams, Jacksonville.
STARTING NOD -- Antonio Gates, San Diego vs. Detroit: Gates will have a hard time matching the 15 catches Jason Witten hauled in against the Lions last week, but a highly-productive outing should be expected, nonetheless.
NOT THIS WEEK -- Alge Crumpler, Atlanta; Eric Johnson, New Orleans; L.J. Smith, Philadelphia.
STARTING NOD -- Matt Stover, Ravens at Miami: How many times has Stover rescued the Ravens?
