A Baltimore jury yesterday convicted a 23-year-old city man of attempted first-degree murder - meaning he could be sentenced to life in prison.
During a fight over drugs May 1, 2006, in the 2000 block of Ellsworth St. in East Baltimore, Bobby Hough picked up a 42-year-old man and rammed his head into the pavement, prosecutors said. Hough also stomped on his head and beat him with a bottle, prosecutors said.
The attack left Rodney Armstead a quadriplegic. Hough was also convicted of carrying a deadly weapon with intent to injure and is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
