WNBA -- The Indiana Fever hired Lin Dunn, an assistant on Brian Winters' staff with the Fever the past four years, as its eighth coach. Winters was 78-58 in four seasons and took the team to the playoffs three times, but the Fever averaged just 72.9 points last season and Winters was let go with one year left on his contract.
College basketball -- A hearing in Lawrence, Kan., for Kansas star Brandon Rush for failing to appear in court on traffic charges was delayed until after the season. Rush was arrested Dec. 6 on two warrants and was released after posting $500 bond. On Wednesday, a judge granted a postponement until April 11. The NCAA men's basketball championship is April 7 in San Antonio.
