The lowdown -- Part sketch comedy and part play, Crusty Bakers Holiday Krunch centers on four eccentric bakers who try to make enough holiday cookies to satisfy the whole world. Craziness ensues at this production, hosted by the Creative Alliance at the Patterson this weekend. Yes, there will be free cookies at the event.

The lowdown -- Saturday, the Ottobar hosts the annual Dangerously Delicious Pies Rock-N-Roll Holiday Extravaganza. The show features the Glenmont Popes, King Giant, the Expotentials, 40 Acres, Agents of the Sun and others. Sweet pies, savory pies and quiche will all be available.

The lowdown -- Celebrate the holidays at Rams Head Live on Saturday with some of your favorite Baltimore bands while they play Beatles songs for charity. The roster includes the Kelly Bell Band, Fools and Horses and others. The event, called Come Together, helps raise money for childhood cancer research at Johns Hopkins' Kimmel Cancer Center.
