Gently used clothing and goods to sell at Chesapeake Treasures in Severna Park
In-kind donations of services, such as printing, catering and event support
Gifts of time -- become a Hospice of the Chesapeake volunteer
Monetary contributions of any amount.
Hospice of the Chesapeake will provide donors with the necessary tax deduction receipts required for charitable donations.

The Anne Arundel County department of health will offer in-school vision and hearing screenings this month at the following locations:

Child safety seat inspections offered
The Anne Arundel County Health Department will offer free child safety seat education and inspection this month at the following location:
Dec. 20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Brooklyn Park Health Center, 300 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park. Appointment required. 410-222-6620 Infants should be in rear-facing safety seats in the back seat until at least 1 year old and 20 pounds, or to the highest weight requirement by the manufacturer. Children who weigh 20 to 40 pounds can ride in a front-facing toddler's seat in the rear, while children 40 to 80 pounds can ride in booster seats in the rear seat.

Hospital to offer screenings at mall
Baltimore Washington Medical Center will offer screenings and activities at its Arundel Mills Outreach Center, between Dave and Buster's and mall entrance No. 4:

Holiday lights show -- Anne Arundel Medical Center will host the annual Lights on the Bay holiday lights show at Sandy Point State Park outside Annapolis.
