It's hockey night in Baltimore - I mean, if it's ever hockey night in Baltimore. The Pittsburgh Penguins, with 20-year-old phenom Sidney Crosby (14 goals, 26 assists), are in Philadelphia to play the nasty Flyers, who have been told by the league to knock it off. Last week, Philadelphia management was told it is on the verge of franchise discipline for any more rough play. It'll be interesting to see if the Flyers keep their mitts off Crosby.
NASCAR Busch Series 8 p.m. [ESPN]
You know it's a slow sports night on TV when ESPN's prime-time slot is occupied by the NASCAR Busch Series Award Show. Hate to spoil the surprise, but Carl Edwards won the thing. It also signals the end of the little brother racing series having the beer nameplate. Next year, it'll be the Nationwide Series. The former Nextel Cup becomes the Sprint Cup.
