COLLEGE PARK -- Kristi Toliver slumped forward in her chair in the Comcast Center press room last night, touching her forehead against a water bottle for a measure of relief from a stomach virus. Finally, the junior point guard had to leave the post-game news conference to get some rest.
Before that, Toliver extended herself seemingly to her physical limit, scoring nine of Maryland's last 13 points, as the No. 3 Terps narrowly escaped their second loss of the week, fending off Middle Tennessee State, 74-69.
