Mighty karaoke

The lowdown -- After bouncing back from a kidney transplant this year, All Mighty Senators' drummer and singer Landis Expandis is back on the scene in full force. Tomorrow, he hosts punk-rock karaoke at the Ottobar. Patrons can sign up to sing tunes by bands such as the Ramones, Blondie and Green Day, performed live by cover band the Bootblacks.

If you go -- Doors open at 9 p.m. and the all-ages show starts at 10 p.m. The venue is at 2549 N. Howard St. Call 410-662-0069 or go to theottobar.com. Brake for Caleb Stine

The lowdown -- Caleb Stine and the Brakemen are lynchpins in the city's folk scene. Wednesday, they will perform at the 8x10 with the Payola Reserve. In conversation, Stine casually (but seriously) compares Hank Williams to Jay-Z. The group released a single this year titled "Come Back Home."

If you go -- Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8. The club is at 8-10 E. Cross St. Call 410-625-2000 or go to the8x10.com.

Uncensored

The lowdown -- Ever wonder how much funnier 98 Rock morning show host Mickey Cucchiella would be if he wasn't held back by FCC rules? You can find out this weekend at the Baltimore Comedy Factory when Cucchiella headlines. (By the way, the answer is: He's hilarious).

If you go -- Show times at 8 p.m. today; 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and midnight tomorrow; and 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $17. The venue is at Light and St. Paul streets, above Burke's Restaurant. Call 410-547-7798 or go to baltimorecomedy.com.
