November ended a shade warmer than average but very dry, the sixth dry month in the last seven. Only an inch and a half of rain dropped into the bucket at BWI, just half the November norm. There was a trace of snow on the 9th. Temperatures ranged from 74 degrees to 22 degrees, all between the 22nd and the 24th. Ten days saw freezing temperatures. But smile, Bunky: We're 20 percent to the good so far this season on our need for heating energy.
