Victim named -- Police released yesterday the name of a Florida man fatally shot Nov. 23 in the 1000 block of Boyd St. Robert Gray, 36, of Jacksonville was found about 10 p.m. by police responding to shots fired. Gray died about an hour later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
Armed robbery -- About 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, two men, one armed with a knife, robbed New York Fried Chicken in the 1100 block of Washington Blvd. of more than $100 and an employee's cell phone.
Theft -- A 2007 Honda Civic was parked in the 300 block of E. Biddle St. early Wednesday when someone shattered a passenger window with a rock and stole coconut-scented hand lotion and an iPod cable. Total value of the property and the shattered window was $310. The rock was found inside the car.
Stolen vehicle -- A gold 1994 Nissan Altima with tags JFT 878 was stolen over the weekend in the 100 block of McMechen St.
Theft -- A laptop computer valued at $2,000 was stolen over the weekend from a real estate office in the 800 block of N. Calvert St. The theft was reported Tuesday.
Theft -- After an employee of Mayfair Development in the 300 block of N. Charles St. returned to her desk from getting coffee about 11 a.m. Tuesday, a man she had spoken to moments earlier about an office for rent was gone and so was a laptop computer. The computer was valued at $2,100.
Burglary -- Someone broke into Burger King in the 4100 block of Pulaski Highway through a roof exhaust vent early Tuesday and removed money from a cash register.
Theft -- At least 150 CDs and a pair of shoes were stolen Tuesday from a 2003 Mitsubishi parked in the 1400 block of N. Linwood Ave.
Robbery -- Police were seeking two men, one with a handgun, who robbed Game Stop in the 2400 block of N. Charles St. of an undisclosed sum of money about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Theft -- Cash, a backpack, a laptop computer and books -- all valued at $1,400 -- were stolen Wednesday from a 1996 Hyundai Elantra parked in the 100 block of S. President St.
Theft -- A camera, a watch, a Global Positioning System and two pairs of shoes -- all valued at nearly $3,800 -- were stolen Tuesday from a 2005 Toyota parked in the 3500 block of Foster Ave.
Burglary -- Jewelry, a desktop computer, DVDs, perfume and silverware -- all valued at $20,000 -- were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 6500 block of Riverview Ave. by someone who entered through a rear basement door.
Burglary -- A warrant has been issued charging a man with forcibly entering a house in the 500 block of Southern Ave. on Tuesday and stealing a 50-inch TV, a 20-inch TV, a third TV and a paint-ball gun -- all valued at nearly $6,000. The property was recovered. The man's name was withheld pending his arrest.
Theft -- An air compressor, a miter saw and a grinder -- all valued at $1,200 -- were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2700 block of Plainfield Road that was being renovated.
Burglary -- An iPod, a camcorder, video games and a watch -- all worth nearly $2,000 -- were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3100 block of Short Way.
Burglary -- Someone entered a construction site at Southerly and Dulaney Valley roads Tuesday or yesterday and stole welding equipment that had been chained to a concrete support beam.
Burglary -- Video games, jewelry and several DVDs were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2000 block of Gibson Road.
Robbery/arrest -- A man, 23, was walking in the first block of Straw Hat Road about 8 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of more than $200. A suspect was later arrested, and police were seeking the second man. The identity of the arrested suspect was not available.
