Maryland women shrug off fatigue, put away Panthers

COLLEGE PARK -- If ever a team looked like one playing its sixth game in 12 days, with a pair of cross-country flights mixed in, it was the third-ranked Maryland women's basketball team in their meeting with Pittsburgh last night.

The Terps, who usually commit a lot of turnovers, had 22 last night to go along with 21 fouls, as they slogged their way to a 90-77 win, a day after returning from a West Coast trip.
