Two dead after car goes off road
Two men died in a car crash in eastern Baltimore County early yesterday that left both their bodies burned beyond recognition, police said.
Just before 2 a.m., Richard Gerald Stulich, 22, the driver, and Nicholas William Otte, 23, the passenger, were in a car northbound on Route 702 (Southeast Boulevard), just south of Interstate 695, according to Maryland State Police. For an unknown reason, the car went onto the right shoulder and down an embankment, then overturned and hit a tree. Otte was thrown from the car.
Both bodies were taken to the state medical examiner's office for autopsy.
