THE VICTIM

A man shot in the head Friday night in Southwest Baltimore died from his wounds, a city police spokeswoman said. The adult male was found shot shortly before 10 p.m. and was pronounced dead at 11:12 p.m. at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

LAST YEAR: Baltimore had recorded 242 homicides as of Nov. 24, 2006.
