Harford County sheriff's deputies are looking for two suspects in connection with three armed assaults in Edgewood.

About 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy on foot patrol on Brookside Drive heard shots and found a 42-year-old man with head injuries. The victim said he was confronted by two males while he was walking in a field behind Eloise Lane. One of them fired shots that missed the Edgewood resident. The suspects struck and kicked the victim, then fled, said Sgt. Christina Presberry, Harford County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman. The victim was treated at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

As deputies searched the area, they were stopped by a 20-year-old Edgewood woman and a 20-year-old Rosedale man. The couple said two males had robbed them after one of the men displayed a handgun while they were walking on a footbridge connecting Brookside Drive to a nearby housing complex about 11 p.m. The suspects struck the male in the face and took belongings from the victims, Presberry said.

About four hours later, a 26-year-old Edgewood resident was getting out of his car in the 1800 block of Eloise Lane when two suspects approached and stabbed him in the back. They ordered the victim to the ground and took his belongings, Presberry said. The man was taken to Upper Chesapeake.

Sheriff's deputies are asking anyone with information to call the Harford County Crime Solvers at 888-540-TIPS.
