Partners in Care founder honored

Maureen Cavaiola, a founder of Severna Park-based Partners In Care, has been selected as one of 13 "Women of Worth" by L'Oreal Paris.

She was honored last week at the CNN Inspire Summit in New York City by Carol J. Hamilton, president of L'oreal Paris.

Cavaiola received $2,500 for Partners in Care and $2,500 in her name for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund from L'Oreal Paris.

Partners in Care helps older and disabled adults remain independent in their homes and communities by having them help each other repair homes and run errands.
