Shooting -- Several young males were at a bus stop in the 4300 block of Park Heights Ave. about 2 a.m. yesterday after a party when a man fired three shots into the group, hitting Asaad Neal, 19, in the left knee. Neal was taken by an ambulance to Sinai Hospital for treatment. His condition was unavailable.
Shooting -- A boy, 17, told police he was walking in the 2900 block of The Alameda about 8 p.m. Saturday when a gunman attempted to pull him into an alley and rob him. The victim reported that he grabbed the gun during a struggle and that the gun fired, striking him in the foot. Friends of the victim hailed a passing motorist, who drove him to Sinai Hospital, where he was treated. There was no arrest.
Assault -- Police responding to the emergency room at Harbor Hospital in the 3000 block of S. Hanover St. to get a report of a cutting found the victim being treated for multiple injuries. The victim, 27, told police he was walking in the 2300 block of Seamon Ave. in Cherry Hill about 7:30 p.m. Saturday when, for no clear reason, he was assaulted by another male who cut him on the right hand and left side of the face with an unknown sharp object. Anyone with information is urged to call the district detective unit at 410-396-2499.
Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 1100 block of W. Cross St. through a rear glass door Thursday then fled when the burglar alarm went off. It was not immediately known whether any property was missing.
Burglary -- Someone broke into a shed in the 8600 block of Wendell Ave. through a window between Friday and Saturday and damaged a weather vane ornament and potted plants - all valued at $245. No property was reported stolen.
