Suddenly, on October 29, 2007, JAMES ERNEST PLATT, of Sykesville, husband of Karin Hampton; devoted father of James E. Platt, Debbie Platt, Maxine Platt and Nora Brown and brother of Joanne Cavey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday. November 3, 2007 at 1 P.M, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Woodstock. Interment was private. Arrangements are by Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville.
