Did you turn your clocks back an hour last night? Oops! Wrong day. Back to bed! We've been changing the clocks to standard time on the last Sunday in October since passage of the Uniform Time Act of 1966. But another act of Congress in 2005 added a week to daylight-saving time in the autumn, and three weeks in the spring, to save energy. Now it's the first Sunday in November - NEXT Sunday, Nov. 4. Standard time ends March 9.
