A man was found fatally shot early yesterday in a car in the 4200 block of Audrey Ave. in South Baltimore's Brooklyn neighborhood. Police said he was found in the driver's seat of a Ford Exploer; an officer in the area heard the gunfire.

A man was fatally shot Thursday afternoon in the 1800 block of Walbrook Ave. in Northwest Baltimore. Police said officers in the area saw a man chasing another man and shooting at him. The officers later arrested two suspects; the victim, shot in the chest, died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

LAST YEAR: Baltimore had recorded 220 homicides as of Oct. 19, 2006.
