Jason Brown often acts like a big kid in the Ravens' locker room. He throws a dodgeball at unsuspecting teammates or crumples the athletic tape he has just ripped off his ankles into make-believe basketballs to see how many he can toss into a nearby trash bin.

But the third-year offensive guard, who's 6 feet 3, 320 pounds, is trying to grow up quickly on the field this season and soon will have to do the same off the field.
