2 men suspected in 3 holdups

The Baltimore Sun

A Columbia gasoline station attendant was shot late Monday, and Howard County police said yesterday that they think the two men responsible have committed two other holdups recently.

The victim, a 41-year-old Columbia man, was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries that were not life-threatening. Police did not release his name or details of his injuries.

Police said two men approached the counter of the Exxon station in the 10100 block of Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia's Town Center about midnight and that one of them shot the clerk.

Two men matching their description showed a handgun and took cash from convenience stores in the 9000 block of Washington Blvd. in Savage on Oct. 5 and in the 6600 block of Washington Blvd. in Elkridge Thursday, police said.

Investigators are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest, police said. Anyone with information can call police at 410-313-3200.
