Deaf Arts & Culture PaH! celebrates the talents of deaf actors, dancers, poets and mimes, theater companies, rappers and bands.
The Philadelphia showcase offers 20 events including concerts and other stage acts. The events, which begin Thursday, will include a performance by a deaf rock 'n' roll band, Beethoven's Nightmare, and an author series including a deaf writer.
There will be a screening of a captioned version of the movie Children of a Lesser God.
