Baltimore County officials have issued a reminder to residents that raking or blowing leaves into gutters and streets is illegal.
Residents are encouraged to compost leaves for use in gardens or mulch them with a lawn mower and leave them on the ground to provide natural fertilizer for lawns.
Residents may bag leaves and place them out for regular trash pickup.
