No. 2 Reservoir tops No. 6 Centennial in volleyball

Jamie Huffman had 20 kills and 17 digs as No. 2 Reservoir (9-0) earned a 25-22, 25-11, 24-26, 25-21 victory over No. 6 Centennial (5-4) yesterday.

The Gators' Julie Poston was the server on 31 of Reservoir's 99 points. She also had 13 kills and seven aces. Alex Kuper played stellar defense and finished with 28 digs for the Gators.

Reservoir plays Thursday at River Hill.

Boys soccer

No. 1 McDonogh 7, Archbishop Spalding 0 -- Chris Agorsor, playing in his first game after being out four weeks with a hip injury, scored the first four goals as the Eagles (14-1-2) defeated the Cavaliers (6-8). Agorsor was injured early in the fourth game of the year. He has 14 goals in six games, including the game in which he was injured.

St. Mary's 3, Cardinal Gibbons 1 -- Emre Koseglu had three saves as the Saints defeated the Crusaders.
