On October 2, 2007, KATHERINE M. STERNER (nee Mueller). Beloved wife of the late Roy Sterner; devoted mother of Herman A. Sterner and his wife Rose Marie; dear sister of Margaret Sullivan; loving grandmother of Lisa Rhoads, Maureen Gaither, Julie DiVirgilio, and Brian Sterner; dearest great-grandmother of Katie, Paul, Andrew, Ashley, Christopher, Allison, Jacklyn, Jordan, Frank, Samantha, Carlie, and Lauren. She was born on September 9, 1910 and raised on her parents farm in Annapolis with four brothers and three sisters. She came to Baltimore at age 19 and later worked at Koxell Corporation for 20 years. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26A), Thursday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church - Texas. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park. The family suggest memorial contributions in her name to Stella Maris, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
