Band to perform at Our Shepherd

The music ministry team presents interactive programs about the gospel of Jesus Christ using music, personal testimony, puppet shows and drama.

Men's group plans roasted chicken sale
The Our Shepherd Lutheran Church Men's Group will hold a roasted chicken sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at 400 Benfield Road, Severna Park.
Proceeds will benefit the Winter Relief Homeless Shelter.
The cost is $4 for a half of a carry-out bagged roasted bird.

Galilee Lutheran plans arts series
Galilee Lutheran Church will present its Fine Arts Series at 7 p.m. at 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena.
The series will feature the Afro Bop Alliance on Sunday, pianist Carl Banner on Oct. 21; the Annapolis Wind Symphony on Nov. 18, the Galilee Chancel Choir in Schubert's German Mass on Dec. 9 and the Chesapeake Clarinet Consort on Dec. 16.

'As I Can Remember' at Mount Zion
Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Eastport and Unitarian Universalist Church will present "As I Can Remember" at 4 p.m. Sunday at 333 Dubois Road, Annapolis.
The program will present the story of five elderly women and their pastor, all former slaves.
Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children, students and senior adults.

Glen Lutheran Church will hold its annual tropical bull roast fundraiser from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Oct. 6 at the IBEW Union Hall, 898 Airport Park Road, Glen Burnie.
There will be games, prizes, raffles and entertainment provided by a disc jockey.
