No. 7 Garrison Forest @ No. 2 Bryn Mawr

WHEN -- Today, 3:45 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- In a rematch of last year's Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference championship, scoring will be the challenge. The defending champion Mawrtians are backed by G Abby Bisbee, who had six shutouts in the first eight games, while Garrison Forest G Emily Cain has four shutouts in six games. Sarah Cole leads the Mawrtians with six goals and two assists, and Peyton Hawkins controls the midfield. Martha Plack leads a balanced Grizzlies squad with five goals and two assists.


No. 4 Dunbar vs. No. 11 City

WHEN -- Friday, 7 p.m.

WHERE -- Johns Hopkins, Homewood Field

OUTLOOK -- As they meet in the second annual Bob Wade Classic, the Poets are 3-0 and rolling while the Knights (2-1) are coming off a tough 28-27 loss to No. 6 Edmondson. Dunbar has outscored its opponents 110-6, including Friday's 47-0 romp over Douglass (0-3), in which it scored 33 points in the second half. Tavon Austin led the Poets with 227 yards rushing, including touchdown runs of 53 and 57 yards, on just seven attempts. He also returned an interception 101 yards for a touchdown. City got a combined 135 yards and three scores from two junior running backs, Stephen Johnson and Ricky Rodwell, in its loss to the Red Storm. On the way to its Class 1A state title last season, the Poets went 11-3, and one of those losses was to City, 28-12.

No. 10 Hereford @ No. 14 Perry Hall

WHEN -- Friday, 7 p.m.

OUTLOOK -- This is a matchup of undefeated Baltimore County 4A-3A League teams. Perry Hall is in a three-way tie for first place with Hereford and No. 9 Parkville. The host Gators (3-0) have recorded two consecutive shutouts but will be hard-pressed to get one against the Bulls (3-0), who are averaging 52.7 points. Hereford routed Towson, 64-8, last week, while Perry Hall rolled past Woodlawn, 35-0. Perry Hall won last year's meeting but was ranked behind Hereford. "We have a chip on our shoulders," Gators coach Nick Arminio said after last week's win.
