Long drive, short kick
Quarter by quarterThe Ravens used up more than half the quarter on their opening possession, but had to settle for a 21-yard field goal by Matt Stover when the drive stalled at the Cardinals' 3-yard line. The 14-play, 77-yard drive took 7:46 off the clock and was highlighted by Willis McGahee's 37-yard run on the fourth play from scrimmage. Breaking it open
After the teams traded field goals, the Ravens opened up a 20-3 halftime lead on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Steve McNair to Derrick Mason, capping a 60-yard drive, and a 75-yard punt return by rookie Yamon Figurs.

Trading field goals
The Cardinals took advantage of the Ravens' only turnover - a fumble by McNair - to cut their deficit to 20-6 on a 40-yard field goal by Neil Rackers, but Corey Ivy forced Larry Fitzgerald to fumble and a 43-yard field by Stover gave the Ravens a 23-6 lead at the end of the quarter.

Rally ties it; Stover wins it Replacing Matt Leinart at quarterback, Kurt Warner threw two touchdown passes to Anquan Boldin, and Rackers kicked a field goal to tie the game with 1:50 to go. But the Ravens came back behind backup quarterback Kyle Boller and won on Stover's field goal as time expired.
