Maryland offense vs. Wake Forest defense -- Maryland's running game has been dependable, but the Terps will face the fourth-best rushing defense in the ACC. The Demon Deacons are allowing just 86.7 rushing yards per game, and of the 99 rushing attempts against Wake, only two have been for more than 11 yards. Maryland senior RB Keon Lattimore is third in the league with 99 yards per game, and he is the top scorer in the ACC with six touchdowns in three games. DE Jeremy Thompson is second in the ACC with four sacks, and Maryland QB Jordan Steffy has been sacked nine times the past two games.
Maryland defense vs. Wake Forest offense -- The Terps have the stingiest defense in the ACC, but this is their first game against a league opponent. Still, Maryland is allowing just 266 yards per game. Senior WR Kenneth Moore leads the Demon Deacons in rushing yards (124), receiving yards (187), and all-purpose yards (444). Maryland's pass defense leads the conference with 117.3 yards allowed per game. Wake Forest QB Riley Skinner has missed the past two games with a separated shoulder but should start today. LB Erin Henderson leads the team with 32 tackles and 4 1/2 tackles for loss.
