Arrest -- Bryan Fincher, 23, of the 400 block of N. Montford Ave. was arrested yesterday at a state parole and probation office in the 400 block of E. Preston St. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Fincher is accused of trying to kill a man in the 200 block of N. Port St. on Aug. 31. He was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Robbery -- Police were seeking a man who assaulted an employee of Rite Aid in the 2800 block of Foster Ave. about 11 a.m. Wednesday while he attempted to steal items. The employee was not seriously injured.
Robbery -- A woman, 25, was walking in the 200 block of N. Central Ave. about 8 p.m. Wednesday and talking on her cell phone when a man who implied that he had a handgun robbed her of the phone, a ring and cash.
Burglary -- Someone entered an apartment in the 1600 block of Joplin St. through a door Tuesday night and stole a .50-caliber black powder rifle, a Remington .243-caliber rifle, a .30-caliber rifle, a pellet gun and a .22-caliber rifle. The firearms were valued at $1,320.
Burglary -- Copper wire and electrical fixtures were stolen between Monday and Wednesday from a house being renovated in the 1900 block of W. Baltimore St.
Robbery -- A boy, 13, was walking in the 1900 block of N. Monroe St. about 6 p.m. Wednesday when he was assaulted by two older males who robbed him of his bus pass and bubble gum.
Burglary -- An orange 2004 Madami Max motorized scooter was stolen Sunday or Monday from the backyard of a house in the 1600 block of Baker St.
Stolen vehicle -- A green, four-door 1996 Mercury with tags 6BD Y52 was stolen Tuesday in the 1200 block of W. Lafayette Ave.
Robbery -- A man, 30, was standing on the front porch of a house in the 3700 block of Fairhaven Ave. about 4 a.m. Tuesday when another man robbed him of $300. Police made an arrest, but the suspect's name was not available.
Stolen vehicle -- A red 1996 Plymouth Neon with tags 9AH G21 was stolen Tuesday in the 2600 block of Maisel St.
Theft -- A laptop computer valued at $2,800 was stolen Tuesday from a 1994 Plymouth Voyager van in the 1300 block of Covington St.
Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 2500 block of Edgewood Ave. on Wednesday and stole a red, white and blue suitcase and two electronic recorders, all valued at $450.
Burglary -- Jewelry valued at $7,000 was stolen Wednesday from the bedroom of a house in the first block of Fitzgerald Court.
Burglary -- A laptop computer, cash and a gym bag -- all valued at $1,400 -- were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Cavan Drive.
Burglary -- Someone broke into the Worthington Tavern in the 14400 block of Falls Road on Wednesday morning and removed nearly $800 from a cash register and a money box.
Burglary -- Furniture and stereo equipment -- all valued at $1,700 -- were stolen from a public locker in the 10700 block of Reisterstown Road between Aug. 28 and Tuesday.
Burglary -- An undisclosed sum of money was stolen Sunday or Monday from Olde Mill Cleaners in the 10300 block of Reisterstown Road by someone who entered the building through an air ventilation shaft.
Stolen vehicle -- A red, four-door 1993 Honda Civic with tags MJR 655 was stolen Wednesday in the 200 block of Caraway Road.
Robbery -- A man, 29, was walking along Bonnie Ridge Drive near Bonnie Ridge Court about 11 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by two males who robbed him of his wallet and a cell phone.
Robbery -- A man, 64, was leaving a gas station in the 5000 block of Edmondson Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by four males who robbed him of money and cigarettes, all valued at $20.
