Goals scored by the Glenelg field hockey team in a shutout win against Wilde Lake Friday. Kristy Black and Brie Kitchelt each scored three goals.


Career wins for Long Reach football coach Pete Hughes in 12 years. Long Reach, which became a varsity program in 1996, improved to 1-1 with a 34-16 win over Oakland Mills on Friday night. Hughes and the program will go after win No. 100 Saturday when the Lightning hosts Centennial at 3 p.m.
