Kosher has come a long way from Mogen David concord wines. This full, ripe, dry red wine from the classic Rhone Valley grape is a bit pricey, but it delivers the goods in terms of complexity and concentration. It delivers rounded, blackberry fruit with hints of chocolate, plums and smoked meat. It's ready to drink during the current High Holy Days but has the staying power to develop over many a future Yom Kippur. As the old ad campaign goes, you don't have to be Jewish .
