On Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in Tampa FL., where Megan Anne Thompson was residing, she tragically passed away in a vehicular accident. Survived by her father Henry Thompson, III of Shrewsbury, PA; her mother Robyn Baldwin and stepfather Garvie Baldwin, of York, PA. her brother, Keith Thompson and his wife Alicia, her nephews Dylan and Drew, of Wesley Chapel, FL. her paternal grandparents, Henry (Bunky) and Clare Thompson, her maternal grandparents, John and Angela Lockwood, her aunts and uncles, John and Roberta Lockwood, Neil and Vicki Lockwood, Joe and Stacy Fulco, Barry and Cecilia Dalnekoff all of Maryland along with many cousins. Megan was born in PA, on July 28, 1979, where she graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1997, later attended Penn State York, NC State and University of Tampa where she graduated in 2002 with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Megan was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Before returning to FL. Megan worked at Emerson's Pub in York, PA and was previously working at the Tampa Ale House. Megan was a bright, energetic woman who had an uncanny ability to brighten every room. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (beltway exit 26) on Thursday, September 20, at 11am. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 18, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, September 19, from 6-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorail contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 113500 McCormick Road, Exec.
