Qafim Kaba, 29, of the 2500 block of Terra Firma Road in Cherry Hill, was found dead early yesterday morning in his home. He appeared to have been stabbed.

John J. Christen, 20, was shot several times about 1 a.m. yesterday after an altercation in the Top Shelf Lounge in Southwest Baltimore. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police found an unidentified adult male about 11 a.m. yesterday in the 2300 block of E. Oliver St. with a gunshot wound to the torso.

LAST YEAR: Baltimore had recorded 193 homicides as of Sept. 15, 2006.
