Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Burglary -- Several appliances - all valued at nearly $1,400 - were stolen between Wednesday and Thursday from a house under renovation in the 2200 block of Barclay St. by someone who entered after breaking a rear window.


Theft -- A 2002 Ford Taurus was parked Thursday in the 2100 block of Boston St. when someone entered the vehicle after breaking a window and stole a Global Positioning System.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a white 4-door 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue with tags MWF 309 that was stolen Wednesday in the 500 block of S. Central Ave.


Shooting -- A man, 48, reported to police he was walking in the 500 block of S. Payson St. about 9:15 p.m. Thursday when he heard the sound of gunshots and felt pain in both legs. The man ran to the 300 block of Bruce St., where he was found by police who were responding to a shooting report. The man was taken by a Fire Department ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was treated for gunshot wounds to both legs and was reported in good condition. No arrest had been made.

Stolen vehicle -- A black 1995 Ford F-250 pickup truck with unknown tags was stolen Thursday in the 700 block of Chesapeake Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Vandalism -- A custodian at McCormick Elementary School in the 5100 block of Hazelwood Ave. was working in the building about 11 p.m. Wednesday when he heard scratching sounds. Upon investigation, the custodian heard someone running away and observed a swastika scratched on a door and a window. No arrest had been made. Anyone having information is urged to call the precinct at 410-887-5000.

Robbery -- A 35-year-old deliveryman for Domino's Pizza was about to deliver food to the occupants of a house in the first block of Smithy Court about midnight Wednesday when he was attacked by three males who struck him with their fists and robbed him of $60 and a cell phone. Police said the address was fake.
