College Park -- In addition to suffering a loss to fourth-ranked West Virginia on Thursday night, Maryland quarterback Jordan Steffy left Byrd Stadium in some physical pain.
For one, his nose was rug-burn red from a run-in with the Mountaineers' defense. Worse, his throwing shoulder was sore enough to prompt a precautionary X-ray yesterday morning, which was negative.
